During my internship at Industrironmantik, I had the opportunity to work on several series of Mio Sofa.
My tasks included cleaning up and fixing scanned sofa models in Houdini, followed by a simplified retopology process in Maya. After that, I went back to Houdini to add finer details, like textures, from the high-resolution scanned model to the low-polygon topology model.
After having various sofa components, through a TOP network in Houdini to generate diverse combinations of sofas.
During my internship, I also created a HDA tool aimed at rectifying the orientation of imported scanned models.
